Puppy and Kitten Exams

We recommend scheduling a visit with our vet as soon as your new puppy or kitten comes home with you. Regular puppy and kitten exams and immunizations should begin at about 6 weeks of age.

Puppy and Kitten Care: Exams and Vaccinations

During your puppy or kitten's visits, your vet will go over what to expect in terms of examinations and immunizations to keep your young pet strong and healthy. During your initial visits, be sure to ask questions about any of the following:

• Your kitten or puppy's teeth
• Any congenital problems
• Vaccinations
• Spaying and neutering
• Diet and nutrition
• House training
• Obedience training
• Behavioral concerns

Remember, there is no wrong question – we love to help our pet owners care for their animals and solve any problems they encounter.
